100 blogs regarding usability topics

VirutalHosting.com has put out a list of what they think are the top 100 blogs on user-centered discussions. Web designers often concern themselves with optimizing sites for spiders from Google, Yahoo, and other search engines, but pay little attention to creating sites that real people can use. This problem has sparked a movement towards user-centered web design, a topic that covers accessibility, web standards, and interfacing. mobile web site rant…

I’ve taken to surfing the web on my blackberry before falling asleep at night, and I have to say I’m getting really frustrated with mobile websites. Yes, I’m grateful that they exist BUT does their navigation and content on home pages really need to be so sparse? I’ve read that the Boston Globe’s mobile site has gotten rave reviews, but am I the only one that thinks its lame to get three to four headlines and a link that says “more?” Jumping through all those links to get to content is a battery and time killer.
