YouTube to Add Two New Closed Captioning Services

A great endcap to our great presentation yesterday by Stephani Roberts from MIT’s ATIC and CJ Johnson from 3Play Media, the New York times published this article yesterday about new features coming to YouTube. Google will begin rolling out service the end of this week that will automatically generate text captions to many videos on its site! Great news to the WebPub folks: Drupal project founder and Acquia CTO/co-founder Dries Buytaert will be speaking at MIT’s Stata Center next Monday, October 26, 2009 at 5pm. ReadWriteWeb posted an article about Google’s Internet Stats. As described on the Internet Stats site, “This Google resource brings together the latest industry facts and insights together in one place.
