Webpub Potluck: TechTV Upgrade

Hi webpubbers! Our first potluck is coming up on December 18th. Our guest will be my good pal Kris Brewer from MIT TechTV. MIT Drupal group & sites

Hi folks - Since we met last week, an MIT Drupal group has started up. If you create a Drupal.org account you can join this group and can get emails sent to you automatically whenever anyone posts a topic. There’s one post in particular that was started to get a list going of all the Drupal sites at MIT that are using Drupal. You can edit the page and add yours once you’ve joined. However if you don’t want to join, I’ve changed the webpub@mit.edu list so that any webpub member can send emails to it. Drupal Video – borrow me!

Hi webpubbers, IS&T bought a copy of Lullabot’s “Understanding Drupal” video, and we can loan it out to webpub or other MIT Commnity members. Here’s what I came up with for how to manage the loan of it – think of it as our own little grassroots lending library… 1. Go to the comments section of this post 2. Add your name and where the movie should be delivered to. 3. Watch the movie (keep it for a week or less to be fair) 4. Go back to this post to see who gets the movie after you 5.
